Back from her amazing work with SALVATION Ep, Rebecca Black releases her second studio album, "Age Of The Exhibitionist". A personal album about Rebecca's music journey and her life changes, relationships and growth throughout her career. Produced by ATLGrandma, Marcus Andersson, Chris Lyon, Nightfeelings, Oscar Scheller and Starsmith.
Songs from this album started to be written alongside sessions of "Sugar Water Cyanide" and during this period the production started with Black's desire to "take bigger swings, take changes and go crazier" affirms Nightfeelings producer alongside Jesse Saint John at Apple Music 1 album commentary.
"Hot Wet Delirious" started to be written in April of 2025 after Black went on tour as the opener for Katy Perry's "The Lifetimes Tour". This song was inspired by a relationship developed during this period and by a song played by this person to Black. The song was Bust Rhymes, "Get You Some" that influenced the sound alongside others as related by Black. "This song was based on tea, my soon to be love," says Black, "A sort of forbidden love" completes Saint John.
"Pistol" is also a dedicated song to the same lover, a fantasy song and more slower in the bunch and stated by Black that was one of the songs that inspired the essence of the visual of the album. "It's super cinematic, you can kind of picture yourself as a main character, when daily things in your life suddenly became fantasy." adds Nightfeelings. To Black, this songs reflects more of the intimate with a "flamboyant version of itself and a very vulnerable essence," she tells adding to the following track "Backstage Baby Interlude" as a version of herself she never seen or shown.
Discussing about the album title, Black remembers it stated during sessions in Weiss studio and it began to be thought while making "Anaheim Star" production during the process of listening to the tracks and themes. The album songs structural themes where developed around "Hot We Delirious", "Speakerphone" and "Anaheim Star" with the storyline of the need to be on display, "This need that I have to be constantly putting a version myself out there that feels increasingly vulnerable in order to be understood in the way that want to. And I think there became this idea of like what if you were the exhibition at the end of the day?" she comments.

“What also felt exciting to me about titling the album and using a word that’s more rooted in the meaning of your own self being an exhibit on display. Obviously there is the meaning of exhibitionism, meaning the desire to reveal yourself in a very sexual way or not. I’m just taking the liberty to redefine.”
"Michael." was chosen as a single to present a different version visually and sonically of Black and according to her, "Michael. represents a lot more of the album than people might expect after only hearing the first two singles." Wrote in London with Anderson and Lauren Aquilina the song had a fast production and most of the vocal are first takes as stated by Black being an easy and fun song.
"Waschsalon", (laundromat in German) came to life during a stop in Germany when Black and her dancers had to do the laundry and the concept of going to a club underneath that place and also by the pronunciation of the work in its original language.
Featuring 12 tracks the album is available in all streaming platforms and is being praised by fans as one of her best works in Album of the Year page.
